He opened his mouth to question the damn-near imploring words, but he never got the chance. He failed to notice something was in Luo Binghe’s hands until it was too late. This was so effectively told that I was left almost breathless. I love utterly cloying, oppressive fics that build and build, especially with motifs of heat, intensity, or loss of self. In this fic, this presents as a reformation of self through hazy sleep deprivation and odd tenderness. The way this is portrayed is so raw that it feels almost intrusive to read. This genre of Yu-Gi-Oh fic is incredible. I'd recommend this fic to anyone.

Fantastic fantastic fic that I've been procrastinating my read of since The Natural Habitat. I've said it before and I'll say it again but Tozette excels at portraying the interactions between women who are less normal than they appear and absolutely unhinged men. Beautiful fic that comes across as pretty damn believable within the boundaries of canon. Sakura finding her new equilibrium while sorting through torment and claiming it as her own was cathartic to me. Very strange to say, but I'm so incredibly grateful for Hidan's stabilizing presence in this fic. I adore them.
