What's in a favorite fic?
My favorite fics tend to be long, psychologically oriented mindfuck pieces. While there are exceptions, most of these are character and relationship studies of ships with complicated dynamics. I also love super extra worldbuilding, and fics that take canon and run with it for a few hundred thousand words.
Since I only keep track of my favorite fics here at QNNNA.gov/library, the existence of a "favorites" section within my recs list goes to show that out of the thousand-some fics I have bookmarked, and out of my hundred or so favorites, these fics stand out to me. They're extraordinary. I think about them constantly. Please give them a read, they're very special to me. I hope they'll find a home in your heart as well.
